Serena completed her B.A in Biological Sciences at San Jose State University and is currently taking a break from her graduate studies in the Department of Nutritional Science and San Jose State University. A certified personal trainer and group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association since 2006 and is currently completing her National Strength and Conditioning Certification. Her nutritional experience helped her alter many of her families Mexican recipes, in order to keep the authentic flavors and high nutritional content; without the excess saturated fats. She leads by example, preparing healthy meals for her family and making exercise a priority. She can teach you how to do the same!
